Ola čÖé so Victor and I went visiting bvabva┬áthis past Friday afternoon. In Kisii it means grandmother, written as B’ab’a, pronounced as ‘bvabva’. She was so excited to see us and offered us everything available in her kitchen, and you know how hard it is in the African culture to say no to anything offered. You can imagine drinking fresh juice, soda, chai, porridge, and ice cream all coming right after each other. ‘Mgeni’ Victor had not experienced this before so it was hilarious to watch him drown. Plus some of us had mastered swerving skills.

After an interesting long chat with her and a little bit of Bollywood time (one of her favorite shows on citizen), I got to play for her my new song Ensobosobo and she really loved it. She even shared it with her friend who had come to visit as well. We excused ourselves and took a walk outside. Snowy, my cousin’s adorable┬ádog joined us thus the brilliant idea to shoot came. Snowy was truly an amazing model and showed off his skills. It was so cute to watch.

Glad to share with you images from visiting bvabva. Have a lovely week ahead and God bless. Plus thank you for the amazing feed back on Ensobosobo. Watch official video here
