Sister Sister | 2016Ready

This Christmas season has been amazing even though it wasn’t planned, it turned out to be fun. We got to hang out with both families (Victor’s and I) on different days, which was a pretty fun experience. I think I had prayed a whole rosary and read a handful of Bible verses to help me through the day I was hanging out with Victors family. I’m not sure what I had expected, initially we had just hanged out for 4 to 5 hours maximum but this day was planned for 12+ hours but by the end of the day I was bursting in joy. I had such a good time. I could comfortably say I’m blessed with amazing in-laws.

While in bed yesterday morning, I was thinking to myself Christmas is over 2016 should get here already. I went through my normal routine of checking what’s on my social media timeline and everyone was still on holiday mode. Majority had traveled to Mombasa, Tanzania and South Africa among other places. My Snapchat was getting depressing so I was eager to step out of the house and have some fun. The day before we had planned with my sisters and Victor to take a long drive, enjoy a good swim somewhere and top it up with some nice kuku choma which we did and it turned out to be a fun day. We got to see wild animals while on route but the most beautiful part was to see the sun set while on our way home. We parked the car aside and like happy kids we went jumping towards the calm amber sun set. Thank God for Victor and his lovely camera, we were able to capture the moment 🙂

I titled this blog sister sister because it is in such moments you realize the importance of sisters (when I say sisters I mean your girlfriends as well), you get to face all weathers with them. They will laugh with you, cry with you, get mad at you, share things only you guys find funny and also advise you where they feel the need to. So I’m taking time to thank all my sisters for being there for me this 2015 and I am looking forward to facing an amazing 2016 together. Thank You :-*

On other news I can’t wait to share my music this 2016. I aim to make you dance and enjoy yourself 😉
